Sauðfjár bolli með hrauni /Sheep cup with lava (250 ml)

Handmade sheep cups by local Icelandic artist Fanndís Huld.

The sheep cups have a special characteristic of sand from the banks of the glacier river Hvítá, that river also runs through an old lava field that is in the sand and makes it unique.

Fanndís lives in the countryside in Iceland surrounded by animals.
The Icelandic sheep are wonderful characters, funny, cute and somehow always do things you thought they could´t do.
She loves using Icelandic raw materials that she finds in her surroundings and uses them in her artistic creations. Herbs, clay, sand and lava are among the local ingredients that she uses for her cups.
Each cups is handmade and there for can be slightly different in higt and color tone.

The sheep cup is about 6,5 cm wide in the top, 4,5 cm wide in the base and 9 cm high.
The cup takes 250 ml of liquid.
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
Since computers can display colors differently, the actual color may be slightly different than the pictures show.

Sauðfjár bollarnir hafa sér einkenni frá bökkum jökulárinnar Hvítá, áin rennur í gegnum gamalt hraunsvæði sem er í sandinum og gerir hann einstakan.

Fanndís býr í sveitum suðurlands umkringd dýrum. Íslenska sauðféð býr yfir yndislegum karakter einkennum, fyndnar, krúttlegar og ná einhvern veginn alltaf að gera hluti sem þú taldir þær ekki geta.
Hún nýtir sér Íslensk hráefni sem hún finnur í sínu nærumhverfi í sína listsköpun. Jurtir, leir, sandur og hraun eru meðal þeirra hráefna sem hún nýtir í bollana.
Hver bolli er handgerður og getur þar af leiðandi verið smá munur á milli þeirra bæði í hæð og lita tón.

Hrútarnir eru um 6,5 cm breiðir í toppinn, 4,5 cm breiðir í botninn og 9 cm háir.
Hrútarnir taka 250 ml af vökva.
Má fara í uppþvottavél og örbylgjuofn.
Þar sem tölvur geta sýnt liti með mismunandi hætti getur raun liturinn verið ögn öðruvísi en myndirnar sýna.
