Eldföst skál með hrauni / Cooking bowl with lava (130-3,440 ml)

Hanmade bowl by local Icelandic artist Fanndís Huld.

The bowls have a special characteristic of sand from the river banks of the glacier river Hvítá, that river also runs through an old lava field that is in the sand and makes it unique.

Fanndís loves using Icelandic raw materials that she finds in her surroundings and uses them in her artistic creations. Herbs, clay, sand and lava are among the local ingredients that she uses for her bowls. 
Each bowl is handmade and there for can be slightly different in hight and color tone.

1.) bowl is about 10,5 cm wide in the top, 6,5 cm wide in the botom and 3,5 cm high.
The bowl takes 130 ml of liquid.

2.)  bowl is about 15,5 cm wide in the top, 10,5 cm wide in the botom and 4,5 cm high.
The bowl takes 450 ml of liquid.

3.)  bowl is about 17,5 cm wide in the top, 11,5 cm wide in the botom and 4,6 cm high.
The bowl takes 530 ml of liquid.

4.)  bowl is about 22 cm wide in the top, 17 cm wide in the botom and 4,6 cm high.
The bowl takes 840 ml of liquid.

5.)  bowl is about 25,5 cm wide in the top, 21 cm wide in the botom and 5,2 cm high.
The bowl takes 1,590 ml of liquid.

6.)  bowl is about 34,5 cm wide in the top, 28 cm wide in the botom and 6 cm high.
The bowl takes 3,440 ml of liquid.

Dishwasher, microwave and oven safe.

Skálarnar hafa sér einkenni af sandi frá bökkum jökulárinnar Hvítá, áin rennur í gegnum gamalt hraunsvæði sem er í sandinum og gerir hann einstakan.

Fanndís nýtir sér Íslensk hráefni sem hún finnur í sínu nærumhverfi í sína listsköpun. Jurtir, leir, sandur og hraun eru meðal þeirra hráefna sem hún nýtir í skálarnar.
Hver skál er handgerð og getur þar af leiðandi verið smá munur á milli þeirra bæði í hæð og lita tón.

Þar sem tölvur geta sýnt liti með mismunandi hætti getur raun liturinn verið ögn öðruvísi en myndirnar sýna.
