Deep inside the glass bead is volcanic ash from the eruption in Eyjafjallajökull. The chain is made of sterling silver. The color of the glass harmonizes well with the volcanic ash that manages to create like a small world floating around the inside of the glass bead. Fanndís handcrafts all the glass beads with care over an open fire. Since computers can display colors differently, the actual color of the glass may be slightly different than the pictures show.

Djúpt innan í glerperlunni er eldfjalla aska úr gosinu í Eyjafjallajökli. Keðjan er úr sterling silfri. Liturinn á glerinu harmonerar vel með eldfjalla öskunni sem nær að skapa eins og lítinn heim fljótandi um að innanverðri glerperlunni. Fanndís handgerir allar glerperlurnar af alúð yfir opnum eldi.
