These glass beads are handmade by the glassblower Fanndís Huld and are a historically correct replica of glass beads that have been found from the time of the Viking period in Iceland.

This type of glass bead has been found during an archeological excavation at Aðalstræti.
The glass bead is of the type B and dates from the period around 845-980.

Þessar glerperlur eru handgerðar af glerblásaranum Fanndísi Huld og eru sögulega réttar endurgerðir af glerperlum sem fundist hafa frá tíð Víkinga á Íslandi.
