These glass beads are handmade by the glassblower Fanndís Huld and are a historically correct replica of glass beads that have been found from the time of the Viking period in Iceland.

This type of glass bead has been found during an archeological excavation at Keldudalur. This type of glass bead is very special and unique in the Icelandic Archaeological Site. The glass bead is of the type B and dates from the period around 885-980.

Þessi týpa af glerperlu er mjög sérstök og einstæð í Íslenskum fornleifa fundi. Glerperlan er af gerðinni B og er frá tímabilinu um 885-980.
