These glass beads are a historically correct replica of glass beads that have been found from the time of the Vikings in Iceland.

This type of glass bead has been found during an archeological excavation at Jarðlaugarstaðir, Harlaugarstaðir, Viðey, Álftastaðir and Álftaver.
The glass bead is of the type B090O and dates from the period around 960-1000 or from the beginning of the 11th century.
